She was the wife of the late Dan Edd Bland-Crestview. Ruby was the youngest child of 7, 2boys & 5girls, born to John Edgar Croxton & Mary Louisa Surles Croxton of LaPine, AL. She & Dan were married 20 Jan 1943. They moved from Montgomery, AL to Crestview on 17 Sep 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband & her grandson, Daniel Farrier & all her siblings. Survivors are 3daus. & their families, Carol Bland Rice & hus/Alvah - Moundville, AL & their children: Lisa Wyatt & her children: Ashley & Austin-Tuscaloosa & Danny Rice & his wife, Amy & dau: Olevia - Moundville. Gloria Bland Byrd-Orange Beach, AL & her children: Gregoy Byrd-Mobile & Robyn Byrd Willson & her hus, Kyle & their son, Miles Willson - Durham, NC. Brenda Bland Henderson & her hus, Ronald & Brenda's son, Phillip Farrier & his wife, Tiffany & their dau: Kyristen. Services were Friday Nov 3 at 2 pm at Crestview 1st United Meth. Chuch.
