Clarence Cuffey , a retired welder with Ingalls Shipyard, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
The U.S. Navy veteran was a member of Bethel AME Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Bell Cuffey of Mobile; six daughters, Barbara Haynes, Costella Dailey, Alveta Cooper, Edna Washington, Joanne Cuffey and Brenda Williams; a brother, James Sewell of Mobile; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is to be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home and Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethel AME Church, with services at noon. Burial will be at Whispering Pines Cemetery.
