Rancher of Rock Creek Passes Away at City Hospital

Henry Cummins, a well known Rock Creek rancher, died at the city hospital yesterday afternoon, death being due to peritonitis. He has been ill for some time past and on Friday it was deemed adviseable to bring him to town and have him operated upon. The operation was performed that evening and gave him temporary relief, but his condition remained critical and from Saturday night he sank rapidly. His wife was at his bedside when he died and his children, all of whom are married, were notified as soon as possible.

The remains were taken to Creel's undertaking parlors yesterday afternoon, where his body remained until this afternoon, when it was taken to Rock Creek to be buried.

To the bereaved wife and children the Argus extends sincerest sympathy.
