Harry Cummins, a well-known Malta young man, passed away at the Roybetyre hospital Saturday and the remains were buried in Malta cemetery Monday afternoon. Harry suffered untold agony for the past year with the dreaded white plague tuberculosis, but no one ever heard him complain. He realized that his time would soon come, but always had a cheerful word for his many friends. Little is known of his relatives save that he had an aged mother somewhere in the east. Mr. Cummins had a fine claim near the city on the Zortman road where he spent a good deal of his time in an effort to regain his health, until compelled to give up the fight and go to the hospital for treatment.
