Funeral Services for Mrs. William C. Cunningham, 86, who died Wednesday night, were held today at Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel, with the Rev. Dale LeCount officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Born in LaFayette Georgia, she moved to Birmingham with her family when she was a child, and lived the remainder of her life here. She was the widow of the late William C. Cunningham. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Sixth Avenue Presbyterian Church and was one of its oldest living members. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, forerunner of the present Sixth Avenue Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert T. Harris and Mrs. Wallace Gammon, both of Birmingham, and a son, William C. Cunningham Jr. of Birmingham, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her six grandsons served as pallbearers. They are Raymond and Wallace Tant, Earl Alverson, David Cowdin, Julian Branaugh and William D. Cunningham.
