Nov 21, 1927 - July 10, 2014 Mai Cunningham Brown, age 86, of Alabaster, went peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus on July 10, 2014 while at home. She was born on November 21, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama. Her parents were Emma Mae Cunningham and Hamilton Cunningham. She was married to Angus A. Brown Sr. Both went to Auburn and were avid fans of the Tigers. They also both belonged to Altadena Country Club and enjoyed playing golf together with family and friends. Mai lived in Bluff Park for years and later moved to Royal Towers on Beacon Parkway in Birmingham. After that she moved in with Angus Jr. and his wife JoAnn, in Alabaster. She was a member of South Highland Presbyterian Church until she moved to Alabaster when she then became a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham. Her husband Angus A. Brown Sr. and sister Mary Jane Boss, preceded Mai in death. Services will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel Funeral Home in Homewood, Monday July 14th. Visitation will be 10-11 and funeral service at 11:00. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
