"PARADISE WOMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL. Mrs Jennie Adelate Beardsley of 5898 Kibler Road, Paradise, died last night at Enloe Hospital. She had been a patient for 2 days. Born Jennie Cunningham at Adair county, Iowa on March 7, 1871, she was reared on a farm. She married Louris W. Beardsley and they operated a farm near Orient, Iowa until they retired to Paradise 16 years ago. Mr Beardsley died 11 years ago. She is survived by her daughter Mrs C. E. Plumb of Chico and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs W. M. Woodyard of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs R. L. Eggart of Sheridan, Wyoming; Mrs Dan Eggart of Wyola, Montana; J. A.E. Cunningham of Prescott, Iowa and W. J. Cunningham of Zion, Iowa. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, where services will be held Monday at 10:30a.m. Burial will be in Paradise cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Case Funeral Chapel."
