Nancy L. Coughlin, 58, of State Route 420, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Champlain Valley Medical Center sounded by her family. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home. Interment will be held in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk at the convenience of the family.
Nancy was born on August 19, 1956 in Massena the daughter of the late Gerald and Mildred (Peacock) Currier. She was a graduate from St. Lawrence Central School. She married Keith Coughlin on April 19, 1981 at the First United Methodist Church. She worked as a cashier at the NCO Club in Zweibrucken Germany Air Force Base from 1981-1985 while her husband Keith was stationed in Germany. Nancy also worked for 14 years as an aide at St. Lawrence ARC, and later at the Mohawk Casino as a cashier.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Keith; her daughter, Jeanie Coughlin of Massena; grandchildren Gracie and Faith Coughlin of Massena; two brothers, Richard of AZ, and William Currier of FL; sisters in-law Karen Bresnick of Santa Anna TX, and Kathy Coughlin of Massena; brother in-law Roger Coughlin of Midland, TX; and in-laws John E. Eleanor Coughlin of Massena; along with several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Mildred Currier; and brothers in-law, Dale W. and Ronald L. Coughlin.
