Veronica Mary Claeys, 91, of Camillus, died Thursday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of Walter and Eva Currier. Veronica lived in Camillus for 56 years. She attended St. Lucy's School and was a house-mother for St. Joseph's School of Nursing for 15 years, retiring in 1982. She was previously employed by Marble Farms. A former member of the Third Order of St. Francis, she was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels arid communicant of Holy Family Church and member of the Altar & Rosary Society. Her husband, William R. Claeys, died in 1975.

Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Smith and Linda Rollinson, both of Syracuse; sons, Roger Claeys of Camillus and Thomas Claeys of Liverpool; sister, Rita Walters of Pinellas Park, FL: six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Inc.
