Ann Antonaitis, 73, of Endicott, NY went to the arms of the angels on November 7, 2011 on her journey to heaven after years of enduring Amyloidosis.

She joins her mother and father, Mary and James Cusick, as well as Helen and John Antonaitis, and sister-in-law Rita Cusick.

Ann is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 53 years, John. He took such loving care of his best friend. Also, she is survived by her son, David and Karen Antonaitis, daughter Karen and Jim Eiche and grandchildren Sarah, Kyle, Bethany, Renee and Megan. Ann is also survived by her brother, James Cusick and sister Maureen and Joe McCormick.

Ann retired from George H. Nichols after years as a teacher's aide where she enjoyed meeting many children.

Her greatest treasure was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was everything a mother and grandmother could be. Her kindness, generosity and sense of humor endeared her to all who met her.

Special thanks to friends Deirdre Dwyer and Doris Hill for their loving support during Ann's last difficult years.

Our gratitude to Lourdes Hospice for their care of Ann
