Ann C. (Cusick) Black, formerly of South Weymouth and Dorchester, age 72, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Radius Healthcare Center in Plymouth after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas Black; beloved mother of Laura Litchfield of Rochester, Linda Black-Dunn of Marshfield and Thomas Black Jr. of Scituate; sister of Paul Cusick Jr. of Rockland, Joan OSullivan of Needham, Margo DeRosa of Salem, N.H. and Janet Gordon of Quincy; loving grandmother of Danielle, Jennifer and the late Adam Litchfield and Nathan and Rachel Dunn. Ann was born in Boston, lived in Dorchester and South Weymouth for many years and for the past few years lived in Rochester with her daughter. She attended Mt. Saint Joseph High School and Emmanual College. Ann worked for over 20 years as a lab technician at M.I.T in Boston, retiring in 2003. Ann enjoyed volunteering with the Girl Scouts many years ago. She was a daughter of the late Paul and Eileen (Johnson) Cusick. Funeral from the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.), Weymouth, Wednesday, June 14, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends invited.
