Alma C. Cutler, 94, of Downsville, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie where she resided the last year.

The former Alma Clara Helena Lehman was born March 9, 1905, in the Town of Weston, Dunn County, to August and Minnie (Fuhrman) Lehman.

She married Roy Cutler on May 25, 1933, in Michigan. After their marriage, they farmed in Michigan until 1938 when they came back to Wisconsin. They continued farming in the Town of Weston, Dunn County.

Alma loved her family and was a devoted Christian. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers.

Alma is survived by three daughters, Janet A. (Fred) Bixby of Winchester, Va., Loraine C. Arsenault of Gallup, NM, and Helen J. Cutler of Cuiaba, Brazil; one son, Wallace A. (Janet) Cutler of Downsville; seven grandchildren, Robert (Pamela) Cutler of Chippewa Falls, Ronald (Marcia) Cutler of Menomonie, Judith (Lewis) Clark of Mankato, Minn., Jayanne Bixby of Winchester, Robyn (Gary) Thibado of Downsville, Tanya (Michael) Yavari of Foster City, Calif., and Jason Arsenault of Gallup; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cutler, in 1976, and two brothers, Oscar and Arnold Lehman.

Funeral services for Alma are 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 1999, at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Ray Miller and Kevin Killen officiating. Burial will be in Lower Weston Cemetery in the Town of Weston, Dunn County.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie.
