BLACK, Margaret Florence - 83, Truro, passed away peacefully June 19, 2005, in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born December 4, 1921 in Calgary, Alta., she was a daughter of the late Samuel Elliot and Elsie (Shaw) Dafoe. Margaret served in the RCAF from 1941-1945. She also worked during the 1980's for the Department of National Defence and Midland Transport. She loved her grandchildren, gardening and the Toronto Blue Jays. Margaret will be sadly missed by her daughter, Judy Garrison, Dartmouth; son, Donald (Debbie), Great Village; her grandchildren, Luke Garrison, Dartmouth, and Matt Black, Great Village. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Poffenroth (Rube) (Calgary, Alta.). There will be no funeral service or visitation by request. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. Donations may be made to Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation.
