Services were held for Coachella resident Ernest Silva Daniel, 70, who died Saturday at his home. He was a resident of Coachella Valley for 20 years. Retired, he had worked for the Coachella Valley Water District. • He also had been a foreman for 27 ' years at Thor Ranches of Holtville, • Calif, Mr Daniel was tresurer of the Comite Mexicano de Benficencia Society. He is survived by four sons, Rudy Daniel of Coachella, Ernest Daniel Jr., Robert Daniel and Raymond Daniel; six daughters, Margaret Becerra of Coachella, Becky Davilla of Holtville, Calif., Armida Basquez of Coachella, Rosary Fregoza of Palmdale, Calif., Irma Martinez and Martha Fuentes; three brothers, Frank Daniel of El Centro, Luis Daniel and Raymond Daniel of Arizona; two sisters, Susie Moronga of Arizona and Litcha Moronga; several grandchildren; and by great-grandchildren. Services were held at Our Lady of Soledad Church in Coachella. Interment was at Coachella Valley Cemetery Fitz Henry Funeral Home in Indio was in charge of arrangements.
