Born June 26, 1934, in Winnsboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Morgan Daniel and Lucie (Beckham) Daniel.
A lifelong resident of Spartanburg, she attended Cedar Springs School for the Deaf and Blind and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Blanton (Kimberly) of Spartanburg; a son, David Blanton (Mary) of Boiling Springs, SC; a sister, Carole Patterson (Jack) of Fort Mill, SC; a brother, Michael Daniel (Donna) of Columbus, NC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew; seven great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
Visitation was held 3:00-3:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services followed at 4:15 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Chaplain Jerry Armstrong.
