Iola A. Babcock, age 85, of Madison, died on Tuesday, Nov. 1995, at her home.
She was born on Nov. 7, 1910, in Verona, the daughter of William and Ida (Feller) Davidson. She married Harland Babcock on April 12,1941. Iola was a member of Divine Savior United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, daughter of the Nile and the White Shrine. She was employed Department of Neurophysiology at the University of Wisconsin.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Tom Davidson, McLean, Va., Joan Cooper, Cleveland, Ohio, Kenneth Northwick, Sun Lakes, Ariz., Kermith Northwick, Austin, Minn., Barbara Slepardson, Green Bay, Wis., Nancy Meckel, Dubuque, Iowa, Ronald Babcock, Waunakee, Carolyn Babcock, Westby and numerous is grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harland on May 30, 1986, and a brother, Alvin Davidson.
Burial followed in Verona Cemetery.
