Emmett Michael Davis, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away April 22, 2014. Emmett was a retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department sergeant and former undersheriff of Cochise County, Ariz. Emmett was a member of the Masonic Lodge, as well as a long-time active member of the Zelzah Shrine and the Elks Lodge. Emmett was preceded in death by his wife, of 62 years, Pat. He is survived by his daughter, Sue (Jeff) Quinlan; son, Robert (Christine) Davis; sisters, Neva Coil and Cleta Boyles; brothers, Dale Davis and Charles Davis; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 27, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Reception will follow.
