Services will be held at 2pm today in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Jim Jacobs will officiate.
A Bibb County native, Mrs. Carter lived in Commerce for the past 24 years,moving from Macon. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a retired employee of Blue Bell.
Survivors include three sons, Carl William Carter and Robert W. Carter, both of Macon and Lamar Carter of Midway; a daughter, Mrs. Willie A. Bone of Commerce; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
