Mrs Edna Mae Davis Bullington, 76, a resident of Schley Street, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a brief illiness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. in Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Robert Tidwell and Elick Bullington, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Kingman P. Herin, Horace Scott, William Joe Davis, Francis Bullington, William Clifton and Billie Davis.
Mrs. Bullington was born in Bibb County and educated in Bibb County and was the daughter of the late Ruben Buford Davis and the late Josephine Hoyle Davis. She was self employed as a nursing companion and was a member of Mulberry Street Methodist Church. Mrs Bullington was the widow of James M. Bullington.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Hazel Busbee of Macon, one son James Bullington of Pensacola, Florida, five sisters, Mrs, Gladys Hollingsworth of Belle Glade, Florida, Mrs. Eunice Grant and Mrs Elizabeth Sasser both of Valdosta, Mrs, Alma Bullington and Winnie Clifton both of Macon, one brother,Reuben Davis of Macon and 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Edna married James M. Bullington. They had a son named James. Edna became a young widow when James was shot and killed.
Edna married James' brother, Jessie Jackson "Jack" Bullington on October 20, 1918 in Jones County, Georgia. They had a son named Edwin who sadly died at the age of 1 year and 7 months. In 1922 they had a daughter named Hazel.
Edna and Jack were divorced between 1923 and 1930.
