Lydia Harden
We searched off and on for Lydia Harden's relatives for years. No luck until now. We found Lydia's photo on find a grave. My father, Lydia's son, George told me about his mother, Lydia and his sisters, Mable and Wealthy. The Washington Library located her obituary showing husband Joseph Ameson and 3 children Wealthy, George and Mable. This matches info at Hart's Mortuary, Macon, Ga. George was adopted by Phillips family and Mable was adopted by someone in Fort Valley however she ranaway. George had also ran away from several previous families. When she married Joseph Ameson they tried to get George and Mable back but they had been adopted. When she became ill, George was located and was able to visit her. She gave him sisters names Whealthy and Mable along with father, Strong Harden and mother, Elizabeth Simmons. Mable stayed with George for short time. He thought she went to Fla. My DNA test is on Ancestry.com. We are looking for relatives. We are unable to locate his birth cert and his father's information.. Any all information in appreciated. Addie Joyce
