Mrs. Alma Conant Davis, 63, a native of Momence and wife of Zachary Davis, Chicago architect who designed the Kankakee county house and the old Schuyler hotel, now used as the Sears Roebuck company store, died in Chicago Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Laurence and David, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Allison.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 o’clock Friday morning in St. Ambrose Catholic church in Chicago. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Mrs Davis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Conant, who resided here years ago when Mr. Conant served as agent for C&EI.
