Mrs. Dorothy (Dawes) Chilman, summer resident of Cummington, died in Cooley Dickinson Hospital Monday evening. She was born in Cleveland, OH, April 14, 1895, daughter of Jacob and Helen (Fay) Dawes and had lived in Houston, TX for over 40 years where she was an interior decorator and teacher of design. She is survived by her husband James Chilman, Jr., one daughter, Miss Helen Chilman of New Haven, CT, one son Dawes Chilman of Kingsville, TX, and one grandchild.
