Side 2 of the monument is difficult to read. It seems to be more weathered that the other three sides. I'm certain of all the names, but some of the ages are nearly impossible to read.
Note: There are headstones for most of the people named on the MOSS / BACON monument (with the exception of Joseph and Sarah Bacon).
The headstones are as follows:
1) "LAURA" (Probably Laura F. Moss)
2) "MARY E." (Probably Mary Moss)
3) "GEORGE" (Probably George Moss)
4) "ABIJAH" (Probably Abijah Moss)
5) "CHARLES H." (Probably Charles Moss)
6) "ALFRED H." (Probably Alfred Moss)
7) "EDWARD F." (Probably Edward Moss)
8) "G. BACON" (Probably Gillett Bacon)
9) "M. BACON" (Probably Mary Bacon)
10) "P.J. BACON" (Probably Prudence Bacon)
11) "J. BACON" (Probably James Bacon)
12) "T.D. BACON" (Probably Thamar Bacon)
13) "I. BACON" (Probably Israel Bacon)
Nearby there are headstones for the following people who are not named on the monument:
CAROLINE B. CROSS 1828 - 1913
CONELIA BACON OLCOTT
MARY E. BOND 1854 - 1937
R. HUDSON BOND 1853 - 1891
Note: GILLETT BACON is a veteran of the War of 1812.
The fact that there are no headstones for JOSEPH or SARAH BACON leads me to believe that they are not actually buried here. Their years of death (1823 & 1825) would be quite early for this cemetery.
