Conchita Ramirez Francisco DeFeo, 89, was set free on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was a resident of Hartsdale for almost 30 years, emigrating from the Philippines in the 1980s. Her late parents are Maxima Rosario Nilo and Francisco Dela Rosa Ramirez. She was the mother of nine children: Arsenia, Romeo, Efren, Fortunato, Mario, Priscilla, Julia, Filomeno, Ma Luisa, and Teodora. While she was in America, she was extremely active in the community and especially in the Parish of the Sacred Heart (Hartsdale). She not only raised her grandchildren (Bruce, Brandon, Andrew, Alison, and Alex), but also raised the children of neighbors and family friends. Soon, everyone affectionately called her Lola, because she truly was everyone's grandma. Conchita eventually remarried Bob DeFeo in 2009. They lived a happy marriage in White Plains, NY. Unfortunately, Bob was set free early, in December 2011. Conchita is survived by her children Fortunato, Mario, Priscilla, Julia, and Ma Luisa; her many grandchildren and her many great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will begin on Saturday, Oct 22 at 10am Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale and will proceed to Ferncliff Cemetery.
