Stella Arbutus DeHaven Anderson, 84, of Winchester, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Rockville, MD.
Mrs. Anderson was born October 21, 1930 in Winchester; the daughter of Orville Lee DeHaven and Mary Christian Morgan DeHaven. She retired as a records manager with the U.S. Department of the Army. She was a member of Brucetown United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Sandy A. Purvis of Lakeland, FL, Linda A. Walsh of McLean, VA, Kim A. Winbigler of Annapolis, MD and Ward E. Anderson, Jr. of Hampton, VA; a brother, Guy DeHaven of Stephens City, VA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Kline and Charlotte Little; and two brothers, Ralph DeHaven and William DeHaven.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Evan Anderson, Davis Winbigler, JR Anderson, Rondale DeHaven, David Winbigler and Bill Walsh.
