Mrs. Roy (Donna) Badciong, 93, of De Pere, died Monday November 16, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born on August 8, 1916 in Engels, MI to the late Clifford and Florence (Dam) Deacon. On January 10, 1939 she married Roy Badciong at St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1991.

Donna was an avid card player, and in her younger years greatly enjoyed dancing. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Donna is survived by her son Tom (Jean) Badciong, Green Bay, daughter Linda Paluch, De Pere, grandchildren Bryan (Runae) and Chris (Tina) Badciong, Shaun (Rachel) Paluch, as well as six great-grandchildren Haley, Tyler, Brooke, and Mitchell Badciong, Kendra and Caleb Paluch and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jack Deacon and Carol (Elaine) Deacon.

Family and friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere on Thursday morning November 19, 2009 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home, Fr. Gery Meehan, O.Praem, presiding. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
