On March 6, 1862, in Will County, Illinois, she married Lorenzo Augustus Baldwin, son of William H. and Mary Jane Patterson Baldwin. It appears they had no children. Ellen passed away January 1, 1912, in Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio, and was buried on the 4th in Maple Grove Cemetery there.
