MRS. NORA ATKINSON, DESERTED BY HUSBAND, COMMITS SUICIDE AT BIDWBLL.

Word was received In Marysville Tuesday ot the death by suicide of Mrs. Nora Atkinson at her home in Bidwell, near Gallipolis. Mrs. Atkinson lived in Marysville with her husband, C. J. Atkinson, for several months before last May, when they traded for property in Bidwell. Before coming to Marysville they resided in Plain City, where they were quite prominent and owned considerable property.

Business reverses set in and Mr. Atkinson departed for places unknown.

Actions in bankruptcy were started and a hearing was to have been held In Gallipolis Monday.

Attorney Milo L Myers, with Attorney Hallies Johnson of Gallipolis represented Mrs. Atkinson and Mr. Myers, just before starting for Gallipolis Monday received a telegram telling him not to start. Tuesday morning he received a letter, explaining that Mrs. Atkinson had shot and killed herself. The suicide took place Sunday night. There were two girls in the family.
