She and John moved from Wichita, KS in the fall of 2007 to Berryville, AR which had been a dream of both for many years. LouEtta had been a homemaker for most of her life and her family and church were all very important to her.
She married John Allen, Jr. in Lampassas, TX on March 10, 1950 who survives her of the home. She is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Cindy Allen of Holiday Island, AR and two daughters, Robin Unruh of Lincolnton, NC; Becky George of Eugene, OR; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters; Maudie Jackson, Georgia Marshall, Vera Landsdowne, Betty Tate, Zanada Bowmen, and one brother; Ora Deeds.
Pall-Bearers: Dale Allen, Bob Berry, Cletus Marshall, Gary Marshall, Lonnie McCullough, and Rick Rider.
Honorary Bearers: Roy Allen, John Ayers, Lee Burkhart, and Jeff McCullough.
Visitations will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Burkes Community Church in Grandview, AR with Reverend Ron Harris officiating.
