Mary H. Baker, 87, of Decatur, a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and its Rosary Society, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Fort Wayne native formerly worked at St. Joseph grade school and was owner of a home catering and baking business for many years. She was also a member of Women of the Moose.
Surviving are a sister, Gene Chaney of New Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; a stillborn daughter; one sister; and one brother.
Prayer services at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, precede Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a 4:30 p.m. rosary service. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur.
