Barbara Clark
ARCOLA — Barbara Clark, 71, of Arcola died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 11, 1997) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Michael Mullink and Sister Phyllis Schenk officiating. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Edwards Funeral Home, Arcola.
She was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of William John and Barbara Langenfeld Deuster. She married Freddie T. Clark in 1947. He died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Harold Clark of Oak Harbor, Wash.; three daughters, Christine Cripe of Streator, Joann Britt of Eureka, Mo., and Bobbie Ruiz of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; a sister, Margaret Deuster of Terre Haute; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a waitress for the Dutch Kitchen more than 17 years.
Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.
