Bobby G. Dickens, 58, of Aurora, IL, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2002 at his home with his family at his side. He was born December 4, 1943 in Washington, IN, the son of the late Daniel and Grace (Cook) Dickens.
    Mr. Dickens was a former resident of Washington, IN before moving to Aurora area in 1962. He was a former employee of Harben Import's for 26 years and Eby Brown for 12 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and the St. Louis Cardinals.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Alice (Majors) Dickens of Aurora; two daughters, Lori (Andre) Banks and Karen (fiance' Bill Rawle) Dickens, both of Aurora; two brothers, Jerry Lee (Judy) Dickens of Belvidere, IL and Larry Joe Dickens of Washington, IN; three sisters, Carolyn Sue (Gib) Kent of Washington, IN, Mary Louise (Earl) Brosman of Indianapolis, IN and Linda Marie (Les) Thurston of Vincennes, IN; and three grandchildren, Nashonda Jones, David Banks and Jessica Dickens, all of Aurora, IL and best family friend, Kay Esken of Decatur, IL.
    A wake will be held for Mr. Dickens on Wednesday, August 28, 2002 from 5-8PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, Montgomery. Services will be on Thursday, August 29, 2002, 1:30PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery.
