James was born in 132 East Bread Street, Belfast, the first child to William and Mary Dickson. James' mother Mary died when he was 5 and was brought up by his father with help from the rest of the family.
James moved to England to live, and in 1940 he went to war with the Corps of Military Police ( CMP) until the war ended in 1945.
He married Charlotte (lottie).
His last address was 8 Stuart Way, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Herts.
James is my Uncle.
