Lottie Ada Gerhardt, 96, of Honey Brook, died
Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Tel Hai Nursing Center in Honey Brook.

She was the wife of Alfred Carl Paul Gerhardt
Jr., with whom she had shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in South Hermitage, Lancaster County,
she was the daughter of the late Reuben
Walter Diem and the late Mary Viola Bowman Diem Firing.

In her early years she worked at a silk mill in
Blue Ball and later retired after working in the housekeeping department of the Tel Hai Community. Following her retirement, she worked at the Brandywine Meadows Camp
Ground and at the Honey Brook Family
Restaurant, working until 1985.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of
Pequea in Gap.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by
three step-sons, Charles F. Stauffer of Coates-
ville, Joseph M. Stauffer Jr. of Brandamore and Manning F. Stauffer of Coatesville; 11 step-
grandchildren and 11 step-great-grand-
children.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, July 17, at First Baptist Church of Pequea, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike in Gap. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at the Labs Funeral Home Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, and from 10 to ll a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in Pequea Baptist Cemetery in Gap.
