NICHOLS -- Harlow Clinton Dietz Sr., 73, died Friday, May 17, 1996, at home.
He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Harlow and Dessie Elizabeth Lewis Dietz.
He was a corporal in the Marine Corps and retired after 23 years as an auto mechanic with the S.C. Highway Patrol. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Johnson Dietz of Nichols; two sons, Harlow Dietz Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., and Dan Dietz of Nichols; a daughter, Linda Seaver of New Orleans; a sister, Louella Inman of Georgetown; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Conway. Meares Funeral Home of Mullins is in charge of arrangements.
