John Paul DiGati
John Paul DiGati, passed away at the age of 80, at his home in Newark, DE on May 31, 2014. He was the son of the late, Fillippo DiGati and Isabella Clark DiGati, both of Boothwyn, PA.
He retired from Chrysler after 37 years. John proudly served his country in the US Army working with guided missiles and rising to the rank of Sp4.
He is survived by his wife, Esther DiGati; four stepdaughters, Barbara and her husband Richard Kollar, Deborah Waugh, Carol and her husband Wayne Hutchison and Audrey Waugh; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his nephew, John Heyburn and his wife Joan; and his niece, Terry Turse.
Private Funeral Services were celebrated at Beeson Funeral Home, Newark, DE on Thursday, June 12th at 11am. Interment followed in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
