Annette Dillard Morehead, 79, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, February 7, 2014, at Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.

Graveside services will be held 3 PM, Monday, February 10, 2014, at Turner Church Cemetery, Berrien County with Rev. Harris Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Morehead was born September 1, 1934, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Ira W. & Annaliza O’Neil Carr. She was a former employee of Irwin Manufacturing. Mrs. Morehead was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Jimmy & Stacey Dillard of Danbury, North Carolina, Mary D. & Ronnie Croft of Fitzgerald, and Terry Dillard of Clearwater, Florida; her grandchildren: Jessica Faircloth, Joey Dillard, Chelsie Dillard, Daniel Dillard, and Chantelle D. Bashton; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Vaudry Dillard and Clarence Morehead; three sisters; and two brothers.
