Peggy Carolyn Giles Dillard, 64, of Ty Ty, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, in Tifton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, in the First Baptist Church of Ty Ty with the Revs. Jim Duggan and Chad Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Wilbur Haman, Vernon Tanner, Bobby Simpson, Johnnie Harrod, Ron Mobley and Steve Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers are Milton Sledge, Norman Adams, Jerry Youngblood, Hugh Chandler and the deacons of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty.

Born Nov. 21, 1946, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Dillard was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Giles and Louise Eva Wells Giles. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Todd Hall, and a brother, Tommy Wayne Giles.

Mrs. Dillard had retired as an administrative assistant. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty, where she had sung in the choir and served on the social committee. She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Dillard of Ty Ty; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darren Hall and Barbara of San Antonio, Texas, and Jason Hall and April of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony Giles and Sylvia of Franklin, N.C., and Phillip Giles and Kathy of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Barbara Thomas of Omega; one granddaughter, Jessica E. Hodges of Ramstein, Germany; and one grandson, Alex Hall of San Antonio, Texas; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
