Wiley Jefferson "Jeff" "Bodean" Dillard, 45, of Chula died Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Tift Health Care following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Lee Chambers will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Johnny Tawzer, Charles Tawzer, Paul Driskel, David Clements, Tommy Hilton and Freddie Cheek will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Benson, John Cone and Felton Bentley. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Dillard was born on August 10, 1960 in Tifton and was the son of Wiley Dillard of Griffin and Joyce Clements George of Tifton. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Dillard Bentley and Kay Dillard. He was a research technician for 26 years with the University of Georgia and the United States Department of Agriculture in Tifton. He was a member of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton and had lived in Tift County all of his life.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dillard is survived by his wife, Teresa Cone Dillard of Chula; two sons, Johnathon Dillard of Chula, age 14 and a student at Eighth Street Middle School, and Jordon Dillard of Chula, age 11 and a student at J. T. Reddick School; one sister, Ruth Dillard Brumbelow of Griffin.
