Burns, 85, passed away on April 15, 2010 at the Monroe County Hospital in Forsyth, GA. -Funeral services will he held at 1:15 P.M. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Baptist Church, 110 James Street, Forsyth with burial in the Forsyth City Cemetery. -Mrs. Burns spent most of her life in New York City, NY and later in Atlanta, Georgia. -Born in Monroe County to the late Lawrence Dillard and Pansy Waterman Dillard. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Luther, Lawrence, Walker and Mary Dillard, and Alice D. Howard. -Survivors include two sisters, Lollie D. Gantt and Oreatha D. Sewell, both of Forsyth, Georgia. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Oreatha and David Sewell, Jr., 332 MLK Jr. Drive, Forsyth.
