Marion Patricial 'Pat' Crawley (nee Dolan) passed away January 2, 2013 at her residence.

She was born in Peshtigo, Wisconsin and has since resided in Joliet, and been a resident of Crest Hill since 1942.

Pat worked at Farrell Manufacturing, where she was taught to weld casings for the block-buster bombs as well as depth charges, until the end of World War II. She then worked in the medical field for 19 years as office manager and bookkeeper. Following that she was an executive secretary at Fegles Construction Co., Rexall Chemical Co. and A. L Mechling Barge Lines.

She again changed careers to banking and after 11 years at Union National Bank & Trust Co.–First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. she retired as a Vice President and the first Corporate Secretary of First Midwest.

Marion is survived by step-son Thomas H. Crawley (Loretta), step-grandsons, T.J. Crawley (Diane) James Crawley, (Dan Ingram); step-granddaughter Deborah M. Phillips (Michael). Numerous much loved nieces and nephews survive as well as many friends and co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; step-daughter, Sharon Lynn (Charles) Lawson, step-grandson Jeffrey Lawson; parents William T. Dolan and Diana (Archambeault) Dolan; four brothers; William Stanley, Paul Gerald, John Roger and Daniel T.; three sisters Dorothy Eileen (Raymond) Conway, Mary Louise and Alice Theresa Dolan.


Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday January 5, 2013 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond at 10:00 a.m.

Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
