Mrs. Grace Reathel Adams
Mrs. Grace Reathel Adams, 70, of 55356 Grandview Ave., died at 8:30 p.m. Monday in Healthwin Hospital after a two-month illness. Born April 20, 1900 in Starke County, Ind., she had lived here since 1925, coming from Hanna, Ind. On Jan. 24, 1925, in La Porte, she was married to Oarton Adams, who survives, along with a son, Oarton, Jr., of Hudson Lake, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard French; nine grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Doll of Hanna and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Scriven and Mrs. Ora Werner, both of Hanna, Mrs. Matthew Plunkett of Coral Gables, Fla., and Mrs. Otis Flint of Mishawaka. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Ardmore Brethren Church.
