Peggy was born Jan. 17, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho, to George and Nina (Keeler) Donat.
Peggy married her childhood sweetheart, Robert E. Birrell, on December 2, 1945. They had 50 wonderful years of marriage. They had three children: Frank (Cathie) Birrell, Howard (Diane) Birrell and Ann (Dale) Waddoups.
Peggy loved golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Eastern Star. Bob and Peggy moved to American Falls in 1970 and opened Bob's Place. They ran that for many years before retiring.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents: George and Nina Donat; her husband, Robert Birrell; brother, Bob Donat; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Peggy is survived by her children: Frank (Cathie) Birrell, Howard (Diane) Birrell and Ann (Dale) Waddoups; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 710 Fort Hall, American Falls, Idaho. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Restlawn Cemetery in Pocatello.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Rose Mortuary.
