DONG, Anita Linda -
Sept. 1, 1946 - Dec. 15, 2005

Born September 1, 1946 to Fuiong and Richard Lapating in Tsingtao, China, Anita showed a creative flair in her work and in her life. She loved her work in advertising, which lasted for more than 30 years.

Even at home she could rarely be found sitting still; she found pleasure in entertaining, which she and her husband did frequently. Family and friends always knew Anita was there for them.

Her petite body held much caring and kindness. Now, her family remembers her with love and tenderness, and will miss her terribly.

Anita passed peacefully, surrounded by love, on Thursday, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Anita is survived by her husband of more than 39 years, Arthur; son, Craig, and daughter-in-law, Paulina; granddaughter, Cynthia; daughter, CoIette, and son-in-law, Justin Snyder.

Anita is also survived by her mother, Fuiong Lapating; and her six siblings: Jackie Valdehueza, Margaret Grantham, Edward, Larry, Richard and Lydia Young.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM with a Vigil Service at 7 PM, and a Funeral Service at 11 AM on Friday, December 23 at Ouimet Bros.

Concord Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. 94521.

The family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Anita. Ouimet Bros. Chapel (925) 682-4242.
