Gerald Michael "Jerry" Donnini, Jr., age 35, of Monett, MO, passed from this life all too soon on Friday morning, November 22, 2013, at his home following a sudden illness.
Jerry (called "Charlie" by his Uncles), was born on June 24, 1978, in Springfield, MO, the only son born to Gerald Michael Donnini, Sr. and Glenda (Barclay) Paternostro. Jerry graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1997. He was a member of New Site Baptist Church in Monett. For the last fifteen years, Jerry had worked for Sherwin-Williams in Springfield. Jerry enjoyed playing fantasy football, watching movies, particularly Marvel and DC comic's and collecting Marvel comic books. He also had a great artistic talent that was shown in his various projects.
Jerry is survived by his mother and step-father, Glenda and Sabin Paternostro, of Monett; three sisters, Melissa Yonker, and husband Richard, of Pierce City, MO, Tracy Price, of Pierce City and Shannon Paternostro, of Monett; two brothers, Sebastian Paternostro, and wife Sarah, of Republic, MO and Samuel Paternostro, and wife Leeann, of Monett; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as his close friend, Kelly Logan, of Springfield.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Michael Donnini, Sr.; and one brother-in-law, Douglas A. Price.
Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the New Site Baptist Church with Reverend Aaron Weibel officiating. Interment will be in the New Site Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dream Center Scholarship in care of the funeral home.
