DOWNS, Catherine L. age 88, of W. Carrollton formerly of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, January 12, 1997 at her daughter's residence. A retired employee of Woody's Restaurant. Preceded In death by her husband Stanley Downs, March 28, 1968, a son Stanley Louis Downs in 1927, a grandson Ronald A. Powell in 1986, parents William & Clara Hall, 3 brothers Tom, Pierce and Tip Hall, and a sister Modie Broughton. She is survived by 3 daughters: Helen D. Cahill of St. Petersburg, FL; Betty J. Powell of Miami Twp. and Hazel C. Monce of Gulfport, FL.; 5 grandchildren Russell Powell of Springboro, OH, Michael & wife Karen Cahill, John Cahill, Steve & Tony Monce all of Florida, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 1997, at the Swart Funeral Home. W. Carrollton. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
