BROCK, Virginia Jean (Downs) Age 80 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of the Northmont Community Church where she was involved the Pioneer Girls.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Raymond R. Brock, mother: Virginia (Mitchell) Downs, of Trotwood, brothers and sisters-in-law: David (Diane) Downs of Lancaster, Tom (Beverly) Downs of Tipp City, nieces: Lisa Downs of FL, Christine (Steve) Townsend of Germantown, nephew: David (Annette) Downs of PA, great-niece and great-nephew, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Robert Downs, sister and brother- in-law: Phyllis and Donald Otto. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).

Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services.
