Hannora was the daughter of James Maloney (CFD, Engine Co.28 & Truck #8) and Hannora Sullivan. Her paternal grandparents were John and Mary Maloney and Michael Sullivan and Ellen Coughlin. Hannora was the youngest of 7 children, 3 living to adulthood. Her sisters were Mary Maloney & Annie Maloney Conway (Patrick W.). She married Nicholas D. Doyle (CFD, Truckman Truck Co.#11). They had 2 children, James Nicholas (Marie R. Lamb)and Dennis Owen (Mildred F. Gromoll) Doyle. Nicholas died along with his father, Capt. Dennis N. Doyle (Engine Co. 39), at the Chicago Stockyards fire on December 22, 1910. Hannora had 1 granddaughter, Maureen Doyle Trinley (Thomas L.), 5 great grandchildren & 9 great great grandchildren. She never remarried & worked, out of her home, as a miliner & hairdresser.
