Sibeth Wauson, 93, of West Salem, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1995 in Olney.

Funeral services at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with Bro. Brett Baker officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Wauson was born Dec. 20, 1901 in Alpin, Ark., the daughter of Wilder and Hetty (Crownover) Doyle. She married Sam Berry in July 1923 in Atwood, Okla. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1960. She later married Ted Wauson in 1962, he preceded her in death in 1969.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in West Salem, a member of the Senior Citizens, past worthy matron of the Eastern Star, a Sunday School teacher for 40 years, and she helped start and organize the Berryville Chowder.

Surviving are one son, Monty Berry of Calhoun; one daughter, Juanita Harris of West Salem; one daughter-in-law, Violet Berry of Logootee, Ind.; one brother Conan Doyle of Allen, Okla.; six grandchildren, Jerald Harris, Jenne Magnuson, David Berry, Marcia Havener, Susan Pokorski and John Berry Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son, two brothers and two sisters.
