Margaret Adams Presque Isle 83. Wife of the late A. Kenneth Adams, died at a Presque Isle hospital 1-18-1994. She was born in Maysville 6-10-1910 the daughter of Frank and Julia (Colpitts) Drake. She was a very active member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle. She was a member of the Up and Coming Club and the Ida M. Sanders Mission Circle of the church. She had been employed at Weinbergs for 25 years. She was a former volunteer for TAMC in Presque Isle. She was also a 50 year member and past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge in Presque Isle. She is survived by a son, Donald Adams of San Jacinto, CA., 2 daughters, Cora Sweetwood of Pleasant Gap, GA. and Marilyn MacDonald of Brewer, 8 grandchildren, Debra Sweetwood, Linda Lee, Donald Jr., Jeffery and David Adams, Marty MacDonald, Angela Poirier and Tracy MacDonald, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Doris Archer of Presque Isle, Vella Lee of Waltham, MA. and Beatrice Margesson of Caribou, a brother, Harold Drake of Mars Hill. She was predeceased by a grandson, Steven Sweetwood, 2 sisters, Effie Raynolds and Cora Graham, a brother, Lewis Drake. Spring interment Fairmount cemetery.
